Our Respite Camps &
Day Trips
Our Respite activities & Respite on the Murray Camps are something we pride ourselves on - thinking outside the box and providing engaging, fun, inclusive support to teens & young people particularly with Neurodiverse disabilities through our brilliant activities. These camps organically develop social skills in an environment of support & inclusiveness.

We absolutely love doing these camps and seeing the difference in our participants from the day they arrive to the day they leave is mind-boggling to witness. Often referred to as 'A Different Kind of Therapy' our Respite Camps have been designed in conjunction with people with ASD, Parents, Behavioural therapists, DE's and OT's to tick so many of the boxes we want to achieve with our neurodiverse youth in one action-packed camp, including;
- Social Skill Development
- Forging Friendships
- Teamwork & Inclusiveness
- Trying new things / Getting out of their comfort zone
- Having fun! in a safe inclusive environment with limited screen time
We see many participants with noticeable changes in behaviour, a sense of belonging, and feeling of comradery among campers often resulting in many of our participants coming back to camp to volunteer to help others and forge lasting friendships from our camps & activities.

Water Sports, Camp Cooking, Team Cricket & Soccer, Kayaking, Wakeboarding, Fishing, Talent Shows, Table tennis, chill-out rooms, craft activities & much much more on offer.... every person who does one of these camps books a second one and goes away feeling a sense of inclusion that they can be themselves and they have found their people - we create a TWCI Community of support that continues long after the camp finishes.
