Social Groups
Social interactions can often be challenging for neurodiverse individuals. Understanding nonverbal cues, navigating group dynamics, and engaging in small talk can feel daunting. Together We Can’s weekly groups provide an opportunity to practice these skills in a supportive, non-pressured setting.

By offering a consistent, structured space where teens and young adults can interact, the group becomes a safe haven where they can explore their identities, express themselves freely, and experience the sense of belonging that is so essential to mental and emotional well-being.

Social Groups we currently facilitate:

Gal Pal Group

Over 30's Group

These weekly gatherings are more than just meetings—they are a lifeline for many young individuals who may feel isolated, misunderstood, or disconnected from the world around them. For teens and young adults navigating the challenges of neurodiversity, these social groups offer a space where they can find acceptance, build friendships, and develop vital social skills that will support them throughout their lives.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to provide structured activities, games, and discussions that foster social communication and encourage natural relationship-building. Through these interactions, participants can gain greater confidence in their social abilities, learn to read social cues, and understand the dynamics of friendship. The goal isn’t just to “fit in,” but to thrive in social settings by developing authentic connections with peers who share similar experiences.

The skills gained here—empathy, active listening, problem-solving—are not only valuable in social situations, but also in educational settings, workplaces, and future relationships. The groups offer a comprehensive opportunity for growth in all areas of life.
